How do I order step-and-repeat or place-and-repeat artwork?

If you need your logos or designs arranged in a repeating pattern, there are two ways to request this.

Option 1: Create your design using our online design tool

If you'd like to create your own step-and-repeat or place-and-repeat pattern, you can use our free online design tool.

1. Choose your product and select your preferred size.

2. Open the online design tool and upload your logo or design.

3. Duplicate your logo and position each copy manually across the canvas, adjusting the spacing and alignment to create your repeating pattern.

Please note: Our online design tool doesn't have an automatic step-and-repeat feature, so you'll need to arrange and space your logos yourself.

Option 2: Upload your own finished artwork

If you've already created your step-and-repeat or place-and-repeat design using software such as Canva, Photoshop or Illustrator, you can upload your finished artwork during the ordering process.

1. Choose your product and upload your print-ready artwork.

2. View your digital proof online and check that your design looks correct.

3. If everything looks right, approve your proof and continue with your order.

If you spot an issue with your proof, don't approve it. Instead, click 'My Proof is Wrong', add detailed notes explaining what needs correcting, and continue with your order so our Studio Artwork Team can review your feedback.

Option 3: Ask our Studio Artwork Team to set up your repeating pattern

If you're unable to create the step-and-repeat or place-and-repeat pattern yourself, you can upload the design or logo artwork you already have and ask our Studio Artwork Team to help.

1. Choose your product and upload your existing artwork during the ordering process.

2. View your digital proof online. Your repeating pattern won't be set up at this stage, so the proof may not show the layout you need.

3. Don't approve your proof. Click 'My Proof is Wrong' and add detailed notes explaining that you need a step-and-repeat or place-and-repeat layout.

4. Include as much information as possible about how you'd like your logos arranged, including spacing, positioning and any other specific requirements.

5. Continue through checkout and place your order so your notes can be sent to our Studio Artwork Team.

Our Studio Artwork Team will review your requirements and set up the repeating pattern where possible. An updated proof will be generated and emailed to you within 2 working hours. It will also be available automatically in your online account.

Please check the updated proof carefully and approve it only when you're happy with the layout.

Please note: All artwork requests are subject to review. Adjustments can only be made where possible, so include as much detail as you can to help our team understand your requirements.
